March 31, 2026

Former Raglan local Ollie Tucker Houston has achieved an impressive result at the BJJAO League National Australian Championships held in Byron Bay last weekend.

Now living in Queensland, Ollie won double gold, taking first place in both the Under 33kg, 11-year-old Grey Belt Gi division and the Under 37kg, 11-year-old Grey Belt No Gi division.

Ollie first began his martial arts journey at The Refinery Dojo in Raglan, where he started his training before moving to Australia. His success on the national stage is a proud moment for the young athlete and a great achievement for a former local.
