Raglan Crop Swap Pumpkin Festival

April 24, 2026

The Raglan Crop Swap Pumpkin Festival is in its 7th year and is an annual highlight of the local Crop Swap calendar. Each autumn, the Raglan Bowling Club transforms into a sea of orange as local growers, bakers, and artists gather to celebrate seasonal abundance.

This festival is more than a competition; it is a “renaissance” of community spirit, guardian Lisa James notes, reviving the old-fashioned “over-the-fence” exchange of produce.  At its core, the festival—and the wider Crop Swap movement—reduces waste and fosters “abundance” through the sharing of produce, seeds and knowledge. The event brings all ages together to celebrate autumn produce.

Categories for the competition all have prizes generously sponsored by Jono Hutson, of Lodge Real Estate. and everyone can be in to win.
