Shape the future of community-led accommodation platform

July 3, 2026

Accommodation providers are invited to a community hui on Tuesday 23 June at 5.30pm at the Old School Arts Centre to help shape the future of the Go Raglan accommodation booking platform.

The meeting is open to anyone who hosted visitors, listed accommodation during the pilot, or is interested in future opportunities.

The platform was developed to connect visitors with local accommodation options while creating benefits for the wider community. Following the successful pilot and increased demand for accommodation during the World Surf League Championship Tour, the Whāingaroa Raglan Destination Management Organisation is seeking feedback to help inform the platform’s next stage of development.

Discussion topics will include feedback from hosts and accommodation providers, bookings and connections generated through the platform, potential new features and improvements, and interest in remaining on the platform beyond major events.

Anyone interested in the future of local visitor accommodation is encouraged to attend and contribute their ideas.
