Recently our senior Raglan Area School (Years 11 – 13) students had their annual school ball.
The hall was transformed into a dazzling Las Vegas inspired spectacle, with students making red-carpet entrances, complete with our celebrity-style paparazzi.
“DJ ADL” aka: Adam Lai – ex RAS student and DJ extraordinaire, set the dance floor on fire and had everyone dancing from the very first beat.
Magician brentmcleodmagic.com was busy working the floor going from group to group with a whole range of tricks that left us flabbergasted and wondering how he did it.
The food from ‘Aloha Sushi’ was next level and our awesome ‘Feed The Kids’ crew provided us with delicious slices and a much appreciated sausage sizzle.
A huge thank you goes out to all the people who worked tirelessly to provide the most magical night for everyone; this included decorating the hall, providing games and entertainment, taking photos, doing all the behind the scenes admin and even coming in early on Saturday morning to pack everything up again – you are all legends.
A big thank you also to those individuals who generously provided sponsorship for students in need – you certainly made someone’s night all the more special!
Most importantly were the students. Everyone looked amazing and had the most wonderful celebration which they all thoroughly deserved.
