Inkspillers is thrilled to announce the release of their annual literary magazine, Backlit. The publication, which is the third anthology from the writing group, brings together an eclectic mix of voices and stories from local authors, and is now available for free at cafés, shops, and the local library.
Readers can dive into excerpts from novels in progress by Tina Shaw and Merren Tait, immerse themselves in evocative poetry and prose from Wanda Barker, Bernadette Gavin, Lynne Wilkins, Matt Kambic, and Dyana Wells, and sample a chapter from Sarah Johnson’s recently-launched novel, Not a Babe. The issue also features guest contributions from Jane Forkert, adding further depth to this year’s collection.
