Free home energy advice sessions at Raglan Community House

April 24, 2026

Looking to keep your home warmer and healthier this winter without driving up power costs? Free drop-in energy advice sessions are now available at Raglan Community House.

Held every Monday from 12.30pm to 3.30pm, the sessions offer one-on-one support with a local Energy Mentor. No bookings are needed — just drop in and bring along your power bill.

You can get help with:

  • Understanding your energy use and reducing costs
  • Heating your home efficiently
  • Tackling damp, mould and home performance issues
  • Healthy Homes Standards for tenants and landlords

Community Energy Whāingaroa can also connect people with further support, including financial mentoring and home retrofit programmes.

Free Home Energy Checks are also available for those with a Community Services Card or a referral. These checks offer practical, cost-saving advice and may include access to free resources such as LED bulbs, curtains or draught excluders.
