The authors behind the Three Authors Book Launch have rescheduled after unforeseen circumstances forced a last-minute cancellation of April’s event.
The launch, originally scheduled for the Friday of ANZAC weekend at the Old School, had to be postponed when Matt Kambic fell ill and fellow author, Sarah Johnson, experienced a family medical emergency that worsened throughout the day. The sudden nature of these events made it difficult for the team to notify the community in time.
The authors are hugely apologetic to everyone who travelled to the Old School on Friday to find out the event was not on. Getting the cancellation word out in such a short time proved challenging and they are very sorry for any inconvenience.
Matt, Sarah and Merren also want to express appreciation for local media getting behind the event and promoting it. The Raglan Chronicle featured the launch on its front page, and Raglan Community Radio aired an interview with the team, courtesy of Annika.
The authors are pleased to announce that the book launch will now take place on Friday 5th of June at the Raglan Old School Art Centre. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., with the event beginning at 7:00 p.m.
The community is invited to join the rescheduled celebration of the three authors’ latest works.
