The Raglan Rally Team

This year will be the third season that Jack Williamson competes in the NZ Rally Series. Twenty-five-year-old Jack is a local Raglan resident with the Williamson family farming in the Raglan district for many years.

Jack’s journey into rally started when he purchased a classic Toyota Corolla DX (rear wheel drive) rally car. Jack and his friend, Ben, entered a handful of club level hill climbs and sprints in the Corolla and really enjoyed the challenge of the sport. Keep Reading

Raglan youths jetting off for experience of a lifetime

When Soundsplash was bought back to Raglan in 2015, one of the future visions for the event was to use the festival to create a learning experience for Raglan youths. In early May this year, three young Soundsplash workers, Te Ata Barlow (23) , Herewini Barlow (20) and Jarome Lundon (24), will embark on a trip of a lifetime to the United States to work with bamboo artist Gerard Minakawa. Raglan Lions New Year’s Eve Parade for 2016
