A message from Raglan Football Club

May 15, 2023

The football season is under way with all First Kicks teams up and running and the Junior teams playing home & away.

We would like to thank everyone for their support getting ready for the season and for being so patient whilst we sort out missing bits of kit.

We would like to welcome new players and send out rays of postivity for those struggling in the morning motivating their kids, organising car-pooling and finding the lost shin-pad (it can’t just be me!).

Things we look forward to over the next month are inter-club clusters, and our new slot on Raglan Radio called Kick Off. If your child would be keen to come On Air and talk about soccer and select some of their favourite songs, then please send the club a message on RFC Facebook. We would love to hear what are the best things about soccer, what it’s like to get gloves and goalies in the 9th grade, what it’s like to start playing away games, and what it feels like to start playing soccer for the first time. Or for any older players, we would welcome you coming and talking about your memories of Raglan Football Club and winter sport in Raglan.

Kirstin Salmon is the new go-to for POD details, please send details to her. And a massive thanks to Megan for doing this job for years!
