Tarot Talk – King of Wands

June 28, 2018

Hello again from Tarot Talk – a weekly column in which I introduce a Tarot card for the week and provide a little information about it.  I hope you continue to enjoy this space.

This week’s card is the King of Wands.  The King of Wands is a passionate guy who can sweep you off your feet.  Whatever he does for a living, you can be sure, he’s on fire about it. He’s creative, passionate and can be jealous.

King of Wands

This King asks us to consider  what it is we are  ‘on fire’ about? What do we feel passionate about? This card represents energy, excitement and confidence. An opportunity may present  itself so be aware of possibilities. The King of Wands represents strength, leadership, creativity, vision, and the motivation to bring that creative vision into reality.

As an abstract concept, the King of Wands denotes property settlements, pre-nuptual agreements and financial negotiations connected with both marriage and divorce. Charities, trusts, philanthropic organisations and bodies that finance the arts are also symbolised by this card. Negotiations and financial windfalls may also be indicated
