A card of vision and foresight a great card to see at the start of a new year. It represents a time of removing yourself from the immediate situation, detaching and gaining perspective. This card can tell you to take the long view. Don’t react to the heat of the moment, but step back and reconsider.
See how the present fits into the greater picture and the future you dream of. The Three of Wands is also a card of exploration but exploration that is based on informed decisions. It is also a card of expectation – you have “sent the ships out” and now stand wondering where they will go and what they will bring back.
Threes represent the idea of creation, gifts, challenges, opportunities and imagination. New directions and growth can take place. This card can represent enterprises and business or the undertaking of a creative project or goal.
